YSS fork valves turn a conventional fork into a controlled feeling with improved road contact. CAD developed and hardened from extremely light 6061 T6 aluminum with 65 Rockwell. Thanks to a sophisticated system of holes in the valve, the oil flow in the fork is changed so that road contact and feedback are significantly more direct. This gives the rider a more secure feeling for the road surface. The fork valves come pre-set for the respective fork diameter. A subsequent fine adjustment can be made by the amount of oil or other oil viscosity.
Working principle:
The YSS fork valve is inserted between the piston rod and fork spring. It is important to know the inner diameter of the dip tube and the bore in the piston rod beforehand.
Fine tuning of the fork valve is possible with little effort after installation:
The fork bridge must be loosened, the oil drawn from the fork and the fork valve lifted up.
The adjusting screw can then be tightened or loosened in steps of 2 turns using an Allen key.
Please consider turning the upper screw first and then tightening with the lower stop nut.
This PD335 ahs an outer diameter of 335 mm. The inner diameter of the inner fork tube must be from 336 mm and up.
