Why did we develop Bobber versions of the YSS shocks?
The standard shock absorber is positioned behind a tube of the standard rear subframe, this is the reason why YSS had to develop a replacement rear shock with a short spring, mounted low on the shock.
Mounted on a Bobber without subframe this doesn't look particularly nice.

The main difference between the standard issued YSS shocks and the Bobber versions created by us is the length of the spring (same rate)
Mounting a fair bit longer spring makes the shock look much nicer on your bike.
We also offer different lengths, colors, shock versions and even YSS shock models that are created by us and are only available through us or through our well appreciated resellers.
